Goodpeople Plumbing exists because Matt Denton wanted to give his customers a good experience when they're dealing with a plumbing problem they can't, or prefer not to, tackle themselves. Plumbing is something we use every day without thinking about it, and it's usually not until something goes wrong that we realize how much we actually rely on it — hot showers, clean dishes, laundry that doesn't pile up. A plumbing system that works right is part of what makes a house feel livable.

A Huntsville native, Matt started out plumbing in Knoxville, working kitchen and bath remodels. Since then he's worked on everything from remodels to general residential and light commercial service, and picked up particular interest in tankless water heaters along the way. He's made a point of learning the common issues and the weird ones too.

After moving back home to North Alabama, Matt worked for a few local companies that didn't quite live up to what he thought service should look like. That's where the idea for Goodpeople came from: Good people deserve good plumbing — that's why there's Goodpeople.
